Mon 22nd Jan Rialto Toer at night

We went back up the tower later on in the day to watch the sunset and look at the city at night.

The magic roundabout!!

After the Rialto tower we went for a play in the park down in the docklands!! The big blue building in the background of some of the pics is the rialto tower. Also in the pics is shell and lauren getting dizzy on a kids spinny thing, a pic of a big 83 outside the Telstra Dome which was a particularly good year for intelligent babies, especially around September 20ths, and a pic of me hugging a big rabbit, well if u can, why not!

Down an alley next to the cafe Shell works at there is this art instillation that we have all walked past for months, until i read in some random magazine that if u stand on the middle spot it gives a commantry and advise through a speaker abouve, how random!

Mon 22nd Jan Rialto Tower

Me, Shell and Lauren went up the Rialto tower, the second tallest building in Melbourne. It has an observation dec and you could see our apartment building which is the pic in the circle that i took through the viw finder of the telescope thingy. Also a pic of the stadiums where the Australian open is being hed at the mo.

Mon 15th Jan Old Melbourne Gaol

Just across the road from the flat is the Old Melbourne Gaol (gaol is the Irish spelling of jail). It was used up until the 1920's and the most famous inmate was Ned Kelly who was hanged in 1880.

14th Jan London Bridge is falling down

London bridge is falling down, falling down. And it did that in 1998 (possibly another year in the 90's cant remember) The archer rock formation was once two arches until the middle section fell in about ten years ago. Also in the pics is father christmas, aka ST Nick, aka santa claus, aka the jolly fat man. He is driving buses for 'go west' along the great ocean road. So he doesnt spend all year bumbing about collecting his dole he gets out and earns some extra cash, Rumour is Mrs Clause has a gambling habit that he has to support. The poor guy driving the bus probably wondered why we kept taking pics of him,lol. Shell is also seen eating noodles in one of the pics, normally this wouldnt have been of interest except fot the fact that we were in Colac. And for those neighbours fans out there u will know that Toadies family is from Colac, how Hollywood are we!

14th Jan Twelve Apostles

The twelve apostles, the jewel in the crown of the great ocean road, theres actually only 8 now a few have fallen down. Unfortunatly it had become over cast when we got there and the sea looked a bit greyer than the bright blue u usually see in photos.
